NAMBOUR YOGA

EXPERIENCE the richness of a simple, balanced lifestyle.

Yoga is a 5000+ year old science which can lead you to a balance between mind, body and spirit. The yogic traditions translate easily into a modern lifestyle, bringing the balance we crave, that is missing from today's lifestyle.

You are invited to join us for a weekend of experiencing yoga in a practical, modern context. You don't have to be fit or flexible (that comes with time!) The style of asana (postures) is slow-moving, with a focus on breathing. Beginners will feel very welcome....all the places on the spring retreat have so far been taken by people who have either never tried yoga before, or are very new to classes.

You will return home inspired, relaxed, and with a fresh outlook. You will have many new tools and ideas to integrate into your daily routine. It can be easy to change your standard of living and experience of happiness without spending extra money or having to manifest more of anything. You will learn how to really engage with awareness, in your life, experiencing the joy that comes with this.

SPRING YOGA RETREAT

This weekend you will participate in a selection of yoga sessions (asanas/postures and pranayama/breathing), yoga nidra (deep yogic relaxation), ayurvedic skincare and facial massage, an ayurvedic cooking class, meditation, group discussions, introduction to the yamas/niyamas and gunas (a chance to look within), delicious meals, and new friendships.

FROM THE RETREATS…

"Absolutely awesome retreat!

"I went into the weekend with trepidation - not having practiced yoga before and I was also one of two males amongst 10 females. I soon melted into the weekend with Kath’s peaceful direction in yoga and meditation. We became a group of friends very quickly, all with the common goal of seeking 'inner peace'.

"There was a wonderfully informative afternoon learning about ayurvedic food, culminating in a fun group cooking session in the kitchen, learning the art of 'you are what you eat'. The evening feast was out of this world – great food and fun company. The whole weekend retreat was essential fuel for the body, mind and spirit. Thanks very much to Kath and Kean for hosting a fantastic weekend. I would recommend it to any male wanting to chill, open and grow."
