Kathleen began her yoga journey during her teenage years, studying yogic philosophy and wisdom until her first yoga class in 2003. She became a dedicated student of the body and yoga postures, studying for her certificate of Yoga Teacher Training with Carrie-Anne Fields, founder of My Health Yoga, in 2006, completing training in 2009.

Kathleen teaches six regular weekly classes in Nambour. She leads Yoga Lifestyle Retreats, and takes yoga classes on personal development retreats.

Her style is simple and grounded hatha yoga, employing alignment and breath control to gently allow the body to open. Tension lifts, and the body can access an ease that many people thought was only a distant childhood memory.

Great strength, flexibility and balance are encouraged, with the benefits of a regular practice flowing into the mental and emotional areas of life; an unexpected bonus which sees people returning week after week.

Classes are very accessable to beginners and intermediate students.
